And has become a beacon of hope for others navigating grief, forgiveness, and change.
She is the founder of the Fierce Grace Movement. A nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting women impacted by incarceration, injustice, and isolation. Through storytelling, mentorship, and trauma-informed tools, Toby helps women reclaim their worth and rewrite their narratives.
Toby’s body of work includes The Unleashed Series—a collection of nine transformational Reachbooks for personal, leadership, and spiritual growth. Likewise, she’s created The Graceful Path, a line of poetic guided journals exploring themes of grief, love, mercy, and surrender. She also hosts the Fierce Conversations with Toby podcast, and publishes the Fierce Tapestry Substack.
A Layered Mark
I had a vision that became this mark — a heart that holds a cross, a letter that becomes a promise, a thumbprint that shares YOUR story. It is the shape of what I live for: fierce, unshakable grace that sits in the mess and calls the broken to rise.
If you are that voice on suicide watch, hear me: I will be right here with you every step of the way. I won’t look away. I will stay in the small rooms of your fear and in the loud ones of your grief until we find a way through.
When you come out the other side, this is my vow — and yours: we will let the story that nearly broke us become the ground that steadies other women. I will obey the call to stand, to speak, and to serve, so that every life touched by darkness can find its light again.
This heart and cross are my branded promise: I will stand with the despairing voice, keeping watch—walking beside you through the darkness.
And when you find the way, your story, too, will rise as a force that frees other women.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is live.
Whether through books, coaching, podcasting, or public speaking, Toby Dorr is reshaping how we talk about conviction, courage, and becoming. Her story has been featured in media outlets including The Atlantic, Inside Edition, This Is Criminal, and Audacious.

What’s pulling your orbit right now?
Watch the story that changed mine.
“You don’t find significance by chasing attention. It’s found by living in truth.”
This video is more than a reflection on my past—it’s a lens into the gravitational force that drives everything I create. I believe significance isn’t about being seen by the world. It’s about seeing yourself—clearly, courageously, and without apology. I hope this story pulls you a little closer to your own truth.
