Fierce Conversations

…where we talk about the hard things.

Available wherever you get your podcasts. New episodes every Tuesday.

Here, we can talk about the hard things. In fact, we must.

What beauty and wisdom can we bring into the world when we talk about the hard parts of life? What can we learn from the crossroads in our lives and where our paths take us?

Your host, Toby Dorr, is the most unlikely of criminals who surprisingly found her freedom behind bars. Having never had so much as a traffic ticket, Toby shattered her mold of perfection by helping a convicted murderer, a trainer in her prison dog program, escape in a dog crate. Her story is a lesson in perspective. Instead of focusing on everything she lost, Toby made a conscious choice to use her twenty-seven months in prison as a period to reflect on her life, heal emotional wounds, plot a course for the future, and embrace the sisterhood of women she encountered behind bars.

Join Toby and her obsession to talk about the hard things. New episodes every Tuesday.

You can get Toby’s bestselling true crime and emotionally charged memoir, Living With Conviction: Unexpected Sisterhood, Healing, and Redemption in the Wake of Life-Altering Choices, in eBook and print form on Amazon and also available in Audible.

If you are enjoying this show and would like to connect more with Toby, we would be honored if you helped support her work by supporting Fierce Conversations with Toby on Patreon. All three support tiers include access to Toby’s private community on Facebook and a downloadable gratitude journal. Most importantly, ten percent of all your support through Patreon goes to donating books to incarcerated women, a passion project led by Toby.
