What a week!
I had the honor on Wednesday to speak to a hundred women at Hallbrook Country Club.
The day of my speech I couldn’t eat. I nervously reviewed my words while Chris kept pushing me to rehearse. There wasn’t time to rehearse. I told him I could deliver a speech, but I needed to be familiar with the words and phrases I wanted to use.
Chris had his doubts but his shining smiling face in the audience was confirmation that I had done my speech justice. I even got a standing ovation! And the women had some awesome, profound questions.
I think we managed to create an audio recording and I’ll add some snippets to this blog in the next week or two.
