During counseling these past few years, I was asked what the one message I could have shared with the broken Toby that might have changed the outcome.
It was easy.
For most of my life, I believed I was not worthy. Which led to a lifetime of perfectionism and busy-ness. If someone had told me that I was enough, maybe I could have slowed down and smelled the flowers along the way.
Life is meant to be enjoyed, not accomplished!
Since 2009, when I married the man who saved my life, I have been on a path of searching for who I am. Not everything I have discovered has been pretty. Mostly there were no perfect little bows to open.
After running away from Kansas City in 2010, I am back – to face my past and build my future! My story is not a pretty story, but it is powerful and bold.

It took me almost 60 years to believe that I am enough. I am worthy just the way I am. I do not have to earn love from anyone.
Neither do you. YOU are enough!
